Hi Everyone (I don't honestly know how many people, if at all, will see the blog) :D
I recently started trying my hand out at quilling and I thought, let me start a blog as well! :-) Here is my first post, a logo I designed for Dhonuk, a Creative Urge. Though I had started off with a very different idea, as the logo developed, I kept modifying it until I was satisfied with the result.
With my obsession with information, the information about this quilling project will be as exhaustive as my Chemistry Practical Record Book used to be, back in College! :D
Base: 250 gsm off-white, acid proof sketching paper (Steinbach sketching book), A3 size
Peacock feather: A genuine peacock feather, picked up from somewhere in my house
Light Green: 80 gsm, A4 printing paper
Medium Green: 130 gsm scrapbook paper (from colour papers collection from Schleiper)
Dark Green: 300 gsm chart paper (from Akademiebokhandeln)
Off-white: Same as the base
Blue: 300 gsm chart paper (from Akademiebokhandeln)
Total working time: approx. 8 hours
Happy reading :-)
PS: If my posts inspire you to create something on similar lines, I feel highly flattered. But please, do respect the effort I take in conceptualizing and executing, please give a direct link to my work when you are inspired by mine. Thanks for understanding........:-)
